Terms and conditions

Effective Date: 6 August, 2026

Welcome to Relo-Connect. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services. By purchasing our service, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

About Our Service

Relo-Connect provides guidance through the process of Mexican residency by way of our Step 1 Guide and professional assistance for Step 2 by connecting individuals with independent, third-party attorneys in our professional network. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice or representation, but act strictly as a referral service.

No Legal Advice

Relo-Connect is not a substitute for legal counsel. The attorneys in our network operate independently and are solely responsible for the services they provide. We do not guarantee the outcome of any legal matter and are not liable for any actions, omissions, or advice of any attorney or third party.

User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use our services.

Payments Policy

By registering for our service, you agree to pay the stated service fee in full. A processing fee of approximately 4% will be added to all payments. In addition to the processing fee, the Relo-Connect network attorney may inform the client of any incidental charges resulting from meeting space rental and/or document copying. These fees will be added to any final payment that may be due at the time of the in-person meeting. Clients will be notified of any such charges in advance when possible.

All payments are securely processed via our payment provider.

Refund Policy

At Relo-Connect, we strive to be fair and transparent. Because we offer both a digital product and a professional referral service, our refund policy differs depending on the service or services purchased.

Step 1 Guide (Digital Product)

The Relo-Connect Step 1 Guide is a downloadable digital product. Because customers receive immediate access to the complete Guide upon purchase, all sales of the Step 1 Guide are final and are not eligible for refunds.

If you experience a technical problem accessing or downloading the Guide, please contact us at info@relo-connect.com, and we will promptly assist you.

Step 2 Attorney Assistance

Refund eligibility for Step 2 attorney assistance depends on the stage of the services provided.

Full Refund: a full refund will be issued if:

  • Your cancellation request is received in writing before any work has begun by Relo-Connect or the network attorney; or
  • Relo-Connect is unable to provide the agreed-upon referral service.

Partial Refund: a partial refund will be issued if:

  • Relo-Connect or the network attorney has already performed preparatory work on your behalf—including consultations, document review, scheduling assistance, or other professional services—but in-person (in Mexico) legal representation has not yet begun.
  • The refund amount will be determined after deducting the reasonable value of services already provided.

After Legal Representation Begins

Once you have engaged the network attorney to begin providing legal services on your behalf, refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances of your request.

If legal services have been substantially performed, refunds generally will not be available. However, if the attorney is unable or unwilling to fulfill the agreed-upon services, or if Relo-Connect determines that the services were not provided as agreed, then Relo-Connect will review the matter and may issue a full or partial refund, or provide another appropriate remedy based on the services already provided.

Concierge-level Purchase (Step 1 Guide and Step 2 Attorney Assistance)

If you purchase our Concierge-level service (both the Step 1 Guide and Step 2 Attorney Assistance), the Step 1 Guide remains non-refundable. Any refund eligibility applies only to the Step 2 attorney assistance portion of your purchase and is subject to the policy above.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please submit your request in writing to info@relo-connect.com. Please include your name, purchase date, and the reason for your request. Refund requests will be reviewed promptly in accordance with this policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relo-Connect and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of our service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Relo-Connect is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice or legal representation, and is not responsible for the conduct, performance, or advice provided by attorneys in our network. Users are encouraged to perform their own due diligence. The use of our service constitutes understanding and acceptance that we act solely as a referral platform. Our service is limited to connecting customers with third-party attorneys in Mexico.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Maryland.
